How Vi Move helps your back pain
Vi Move by Dorsavi gives you real-time feedback that empowers you to manage your lower back pain through improved posture and strengthening certain muscle groups. Vi Move may allow you to reduce your reliance on pain medication and some of our users have found that they can avoid back surgery.
Monitoring your low back rehabilitation using Vi Move
Your physiotherapist relies on you to follow your rehabilitation program at home, work or in the gym once the exercises and corresponding techniques have been explained to you in the clinic. But you will find that once you are outside the clinic and don’t have the physiotherapist to correct you, it is challenging to remember and ensure that you are performing the exercises properly. If you are losing the technique, especially with increasing repetitions, your rehabilitation program will be of little benefit leading to slower recovery and more clinic visits.
It is essential to adopt the right technique in order to re-train movements, improve muscular control and strength of the affected area. Gradually, your physiotherapist may also increase the loads that you might be using as part of your program. At this stage, it is absolutely critical that you adopt the correct technique otherwise you are placing yourself at risk of re-injury during rehabilitation or especially once you return to doing your normal activities / sport.
Improve the way your back moves and track progress of your back pain using Vi Move
Vi Move by Dorsavi uses wireless sensor technology to record pain and measure movement, posture and muscle activity. So essentially, we get a picture or ‘fingerprint’ of your activity and pain throughout the day allowing you to develop a tailored program to manage your back pain and monitor your progress.
